final video and anaylisation

this is my how to video i am pleased with how it turned out, espically because we wanted to mix horror with a mix of humour which is really hard to do without fully commiting to one but  i think my editing did perfect , from the horror music to the bloopers at the end. and this time around i was much more comfortable editing the video because i now have adobe at home , where i think i work better from anyway, so i was really passionate about this project and even made it fun bloopers at the end , which i would have had no idea how to do that if i didn't explore it at home my self for example with some advice from paul after watching my first take of the final video i had a lot of black screens that cut in between shots he said to fade them into each other so when i got home i figured away to fade the shots into each other and it looked so better. looking back in this video i am really happy without the editing i did i even used adobe audition to add an echo to the heavy breathing at the end , i even downloaded an app to slow videos or speed video up so i could get talias and krishnas shocked reaction, because  those were just bloopers but i used my innovative to make them look like they were shocked expressions and then added a bit more to the story line where i come back at the end (where you see my footsteps) which was also a blooper.  i am also very happy with the location we used i was so set on this pretty location i took a bus , a train and a 20 minute walk just to get there, and the shots especially  talias shots in-front of the lake, but the audio has a lot of ambience from the wind so next time i think it would be use to use a dead cat mic cover so there is less ambience, however i asked talia to to an adr recording in the sound studio that i later put into the video that has a much better audio quailty and then i adjusted the sound to make it more quiet so it blended it with being outdoor because if she was outside obviously her voice would be much quieter. there is also a difference in camera quality between each shot so next time i think that it would be wise to just use one primary camera so it stays consistent through out, we also don't have a lot of angles in there so i think next time i would work on getting better shots because it would just add to the video by making it look more professional. I think me talia and krishnas acting was really good however there was a lot of editing to do because we were all laughing so much , which ruined a lot of takes and also wasted time. we also recored some background noises, and me falling over to get that thudding sound which was totally unnecessary because we didn't end up using them in the end , we ended up using sound effects from youtube which worked perfect fine, so again another thing we wasted our time on. I am also very happy with how we worked as a team, because we get on so well and bounced ideas from each other we got it done quickly and efficiently without  wasting too much time but also having fun, this is probably my favourite project involving filming and editing this whole year because of the how to video i have learned from my mistakes , and have got a lot better at editing now and i think this video is much better and much more me than the how to video, especially since i left the editing the bit i found the most difficult last , which put too much pressure on me and ended up with a video that was not edited to my best ability, this time around i edited it as quickly as possible and even ha enough time to have a first draft, which i was really pleased about because the how to video i worked so close to the dead line. ultimately i am very happy with this project because i applied previous knowledge acquired through past mistakes of other projects to better this one which i did the only thing i would work on from this project is getting a more varied use of camera angles  that we have already learned about and use better equipment.
